In a 2½ quart skillet, pour beer plus 1 cup of
water (optional), add your bratwurst and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove
bratwurst and complete cooking on your outside grill,
or brown off in a skillet for approximately 15 more minutes.
Serve in a 6” roll with spicy brown mustard.
